Helping Build Green Data Centers
Data centers trust Adaptec to provide Green IT solutions that help them reduce their footprint and ease pressure on the bottom line while suffering no impact in I/O performance. In just the past year, we have set the I/O industry standard with the launch of Intelligent Power Management, which slashes storage-related energy consumption by up to 70%; Zero-Maintenance Cache Protection, which protects cached data without disposable lithium ion-powered battery backup units; and maxCache SSD Cache , which stores frequently-read data in an SSD cache increasing server utilization and reducing the need for power-hungry, performance-oriented hard drives.

Adaptec products are manufactured in accordance with strict government environmental regulations, including RoHS, which reduces the uses of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment; REACH, which dictates the safe use of certain chemicals, and WEEE, which imposes the responsibility for the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment on the equipment manufacturers.
