This Adaptec SHIM package includes a script, source code, and a binary library of object files that can be used to create a new 1220SA/1225SA (ADP3132) HostRAID driver that is compatible with updated Linux kernels.

The Adaptec HostRAID SHIM has 3 functions:
- The ability to build DUD (.img) and rpm packages for the current running Linux operating system
- The ability to build DUD and rpm packages for another Linux operating system
- The ability to insert the Adaptec driver source into the kernel tree of this running system
