John Quicke,
Interim President and Chief Executive Officer

John Quicke is the interim President and Chief Executive Officer. He also serves as a managing director and operating partner of Steel Partners LLC (a New York based global investment management firm), and has been a director on the Adaptec Board since 2007.

Since joining Steel Partners, Mr. Quicke has served in a number of operating leadership roles, including Chairman of Collins Industries, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bairnco Corporation, and President and Chief Executive officer of Del Global Technologies Corp.

Prior to joining Steel Partners, Mr. Quicke spent nearly 30 years with various industrial companies, including leading operations as President and Chief Operating Officer of Sequa Corporation, a $2 billion diversified manufacturer organized around six operating segments-aerospace, automotive, metal coating, specialty chemicals, industrial machinery and other products.
